Emily as Broken Upon the Sand Like an Egg Seer, solideven as spreadyolk netting, the drownedaddressof which is peril & a child singing. My hands cuppedbeneath each grain, balanced againstthe waves, cuttingthrough swaylike real light, I have waitedhere, with my work,to never let go. Emily as a Brought Apple Harnessed, tongue to her flanks we have run throughthe sugar cubes & yet, fireto fire, we pierce the skin of the apple, because it was there & our mouths wereno where near done & as process is flow, our race is done & the roses, the wreath is on me. Emily as Blown, Wild Pines It’s much more about the stasisof the forest then the invasionof winds, too desperate to stay.
